It probably goes without saying that this book would be of interest to artists and designers, but I also think it is relevant for everyone. It is a wonderfully coherent (and even unpretentious) reminder about the importance of beauty in our day to day lives; in other words, it’s not just about how things look!
Writer Alan Moore describes himself as a maker and business innovator, and likes to ask the question: what would your business look like if you committed to making it beautiful? This is a book that aims to help you improve your creative process, raise the quality and craft of your work and adopt simplicity, utility and honesty as guiding principles.
With short chapters, this is one you can go back to again and again. A fine read!
